Eric // Rockford, Il Senior Pictures

I said on Facebook that this kid was going to change the world.  I didn't even meet him 2 years ago, but since then I've had the privilege of seeing him interact at church, Bible study, game nights, taekwondo, and finish his last Eagle Scout project (all while maintaining perfect grades, I might add).  He intends to be an officer in the United States Air Force, and I can't wish him enough blessings.  I'm so excited for this guy.  Best of luck, and congrats, Eric!

Kevin & Celia // engaged

These two are like family.  They're off training to bind up the brokenhearted (they're both going to be awesome-sauce counsellors) now, but sometimes they come back and it's just like old times around the Bible in the living room. <3

(this is such an accurate representation of them)

Amethyst ring!

Also, these were all taken in 10 minutes outside our church one Sunday this summer after the service -- use what you've got!

Sam & Kjersti // Engaged

Sam and Kjersti and two very dear people to me.  The military (God bless 'em) scrunched up the wedding timeline for these two lovebirds, so we were out at Devil's Lake in Baraboo, WI in the middle of February.  They're troopers (and more in shape than I).  You'd think it was a balmy 65 degrees instead of the the 30s we were actually experiencing.  Love them to pieces!

Nathanael // Rockford, IL Senior Portraits

It was crazy cold and we had just an hour of cloudy light left, but I've learned two things that made me jump up to go shoot: bad light is a good teacher/challenge, and you never regret spending quality time with your siblings.  This handsome guy is my youngest brother.  He needed some pictures, so we headed downtown and just had some fun.  He even grabbed the camera and took some pictures of me.

I've tried to write this paragraph 5 times, but it never comes out right.  How do I convey to you how amazing this person is?  He's got the looks, the grades, the sense of humor, and the future, but that's only the beginning.  Growing up with him I feel like I was privileged to know one the kindest people on the planet.  The last 18 years have been great and I can't wait to see where God is taking him, but I'll miss him like crazy when he leaves.

He specifically asked that we try for some "creative" shots.  That's fine by me. :)
